Farmstay Immersion Program

About the Program

This program offers participants the chance to practice their English in an authentic environment as well as experiencing the pleasures of life on the farm.

This is the perfect way to practice English without being in the classroom. Visitors to the Three Orchards Farm can start their morning by collecting fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast. Daytime activities may include feeding and tending to the cows, chickens and sheep or planting and harvesting fruit and vegetables. There is also the opportunity to keep active with a game of tennis or volley ball, bushwalking or a swim.

The Farmstay Immersion Program is based near Gympie, approximately 170 km north of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland. The Three Orchards is owned and run by an Australian couple, Tony and Lena. Program participants are accommodated in the house on the farm and are provided with delicious home cooked meals!

Small groups have the opportunity to arrange a visit to The Three Orchards at most times throughout the year. Study Tours Australia has arranged three programs within the July – August period which we hope will suit most participants. We have provided further details on how to book or you are welcome to contact STA for further information.
